Martin J. Bonick, President, Division I Operations
Marty Bonick oversees the operations of affiliated hospitals in Alabama, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Virginia. He joined CHS in 2011 as a Vice President of Division Operations, bringing more than 17 years of for-profit and non-profit healthcare leadership experience. He came to the company from Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky, where he served as CEO of Jewish Hospital and Senior Vice President of Operations for the system. Formerly, he was CEO of Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa. In 2011, Bonick was the recipient of the Kentucky’s ACHE Early Career Executive Regent’s Award and in 2008 he was named an “Up and Comer” by Modern Healthcare magazine.
He holds dual master’s degrees from Washington University in St. Louis in Healthcare Administration and Information Management and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois.
