- CHS-affiliated hospitals employ more than 90,000 people.
- Since Wayne Smith’s arrival as CEO and President, CHS has grown from $742 million in net revenue to over $4 billion in net revenue in 2006. This represents a compound annual growth rate of 24 percent—the strongest record of revenue of growth in the industry.
- The July 2007 acquisition of Triad Hospitals added more than 50 hospitals to the organization.
