Physician recruitment drives growth and we are committed to recruiting and retaining healthcare practitioners who will raise the level of care offered, as well as become an integral part of the community. In 2006 and 2007 more than 1,363 physicians were recruited at CHS-affiliated hometown hospitals. Of those physicians recruited in 2007, 78 percent were specialists.
