Caring for Communities During COVID-19

Across the Community Health Systems network of affiliated hospitals and physician practices, our frontline caregivers are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic with professionalism, compassion, and high-quality health services.

Vigorous safety and infection control practices are in place to keep care environments safe for patients and their families, physicians, and employees.

Our affiliates are following CDC guidance and working closely with state and local health departments to ensure the continuation of critical health services for COVID-19 and non-COVID patients. We are also working collaboratively to help slow and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the communities we serve.

Our organization is taking all possible measures to support employee safety in the workplace and our CHS CARES Fund has distributed approximately $4 million in 2020 to assist employees, many of whom have suffered hardships due to the pandemic.

Contributions to the CHS CARES Fund can be made at www.cfmt.org/chs.

We are deeply grateful to employees across the organization for their heroic work during this global pandemic, and always. Frontline caregivers are essential to the battle against COVID-19 and to the health and wellbeing of their communities and we thank them, recognize them, and appreciate them for their sacrifice and service.
